Housing the world’s largest collection of airships, the Zeppelin museum in Friedrichshafen is unique.
The Zeppelin collection depicts the history and technology of airship aviation. Here visitors can experience and marvel at the sheer size and presence of these "titans of the air". The special highlight is the reconstruction of a 33 metre long section of the LZ 129 Hindenburg. Count Zeppelin’s airships were responsible for the subsequent launch of entire sections of industry, and the collection would not be complete without a section dedicated to the life of this extraordinary man.
